Hang-It Pocket Organizer

I'm all about finding useful and cute storage solutions, so I wanted to talk to you about the Hang-It Pocket Organizer and some of the ways you can use this in your home, office, or car.

Check out the Swap-It Pocket Organizer here.Check out the Hang-It Pocket Organizer HERE.

Our lead photo (above) shows one of the most common uses, as an office organizer for craft supplies.

For additional creative uses, let's take a look:

Ready to clear off your bathroom counter from all the products, but don't have enough storage in your space? Use the Hang-It Pocket Organizer hanging on the wall, over the toilet, or on the back of the door to hold bottles, brushes, hair appliances, and more.

I get the question "Is this too casual to hang in an office" -- definitely not! Unless you have a formal law office, this is a great solution for your desktop storage. Also, this photo shows the piece used the 3m Hooks so you don't have to drive nails into your wall to accomplish the hang.

Use this in your car -- YES, YOUR CAR! You likely have existing metal supports on your backseat's headrests. You can attach the Hang-It Pocket Organizer there for quick reach things you don't want floating all around the car: First Aid Kit, baggies of snacks, extra charger cords, DVDs, etc.

There are current two great patterns to choose -- Dancing Diamonds or Candy Corners. Either are completely customizable with the wording or name of your choice. This is a great gift too that pretty much anyone can find a use for!

Additional uses we've heard of :
  • Pantry for small kitchen tools
  • Garage for hardware and small tools
  • Gardening tools, gloves and seed packets
  • Dorm room for silverware, charger cables, toiletries, and more
  • Laundry Room for stain removers, magic erasers, and cleaning rags
  • Kids Room for books
  • Guest Bathroom for additional toiletries and washcloths
  • Patio for sunscreen, bug spray, and citronella

Cleaning a Pack-n-Play

My mommy friends often ask me how to clean a Pack-n-Play. Likely because my toddler is all about making the biggest messes possible. After a few rounds of taking a damp rag to it like the manual suggests (HA), I thought, there has to be a more effective way to do this. Look at that dingy grossness:

So what does Pinterest suggest we use to clean, like, everything? Dawn and White Vinegar. I'll try anything once.

Here's how it went down:

1) Filled a bathtub with hot hot hot water, 1 c Dawn and 2 c White Vinegar.

2) Folded up the Pack-n-Play, shaking out any crumbs (there are always crumbs), and laid the whole thing down into the hot bath. I ran my hands along the netting and material to agitate any dirt and grime off of them.

3) Allow to soak about 15 minutes. To rinse, I drained out the tub water, then turned on the shower and hopped in to direct the shower head all over the Pack-n-Play to rinse well.

4) To dry, you can either lug it outside, pop it open (upside down) and allow to …
